Union Pacific
Foundation Receives Award

Darlynn
Herweg, executive director, Union Pacific Foundation, received
a Special Recognition Award from the Utah Association of
Secondary School Principals (UASSP) in late January for
the high quality
professional development The Principals’ Partnership
is providing public high school principals in Utah. The award
is given periodically by the 500-member UASSP to individuals
and organizations that make significant contributions to
the education of school administrators and ultimately the
students of Utah.
“In
a time when administrators are sometimes forgotten, especially
for professional development, we applaud
The Principals’ Partnership for supporting high school
leaders and recognizing the value of well-trained administrators
in our schools,” said Carl Boyington, UASSP executive
director.
There are currently 77 principals from 16 Utah
school districts involved in The Partnership.
