Benavides, a native of Texas, has held numerous positions over his career as an educator and administrator. Recently retired as the superintendent of the Ector County, Texas, Independent School District, his other positions have included teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, director of secondary curriculum, associate superintendent and executive director of Region XIII Education Service Center in Austin, Texas. He received his bachelor of science and masters in education from Trinity University in San Antonio and his doctorate in educational leadership from Texas A&M University at College Station.


Benavides, a past president of the Texas Middle School Association, also works as an educational consultant, speaker and program presenter at professional conferences across the country. Among the many awards and recognition that he has received, he is most pleased to have been selected by the Educational Administration and College of Education at Texas A&M as one of their distinguished and notable graduates.

Founder and president of N.A.C. (Networking, Attitude, Communication, Inc.), Connors is dedicated to teaching people how to build their own bridge for a successful life. She has taught at both elementary and middle school levels, and has been a high school advanced placement coordinator, an international baccalaureate coordinator, an administrator and a tenured professor in the Department of Secondary Education at Valdosta State University in Georgia.

Connors has conducted extensive research in the areas of teacher advisory programs, successful counselors, attitudes of students from rural areas, positive teachers and their characteristics, and homework. A widely published author, she has written numerous articles and has presented to educators, school boards, superintendents, state and national organizations, parents, counselors and corporations in the 50 United States, Canada and Europe. She has been recognized by many states, and has received the Distinguished Service award from Florida, Georgia, and Connecticut Association of Schools. She received her bachelor’s degree from St. Leo College in Florida and her master’s degree and doctorate from Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida.

Judith S. Enright

Enright, who brings to Education Partnerships her insight and experience as an independent consultant for 13 years with teachers and administrators from coast to coast, began her career in education as a secondary English teacher. She subsequently served as a special educator, special education director, a middle school assistant principal, and a drug and alcohol education consultant to the Maine Department of Education.

Enright has served as an undergraduate and graduate school faculty member for the College of Education at the University of Maine and has been actively involved in four Fortune 500-company, business/education partnerships. She holds a master’s degree in education and a certificate of advanced study in education leadership.

Ramsey has 27 years of service as a teacher, coach, athletic director, vice principal and principal.
